NEIL SCHIMMEL

Member, The Heart Foundation Board of Directors

After several years of involvement with The Heart Foundation, Neil Schimmel accepted an invitation to join the Board of Directors in 2024. Neil is highly specialized in the acquisition, management, improvement, and disposition of multifamily properties. He is the Founder and CEO of Investors Management Group (IMG) and Parktown Living, companies born out of a belief that every property can be reimagined for good. 

Prior to founding IMG and Parktown Living, Neil was a partner at Capitol Properties, a multifamily real estate investment and brokerage firm. He began his career at Kenneth Leventhal & Co. where he received his CPA and was responsible for the restructuring of troubled real estate assets throughout the U.S and Canada.

Neil holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from CSU Northridge and is an Advisory Committee Member of the National Multifamily Housing Council.
